PS Tom, seen this stuff?

Thanks tin interesting articles.

I hope this is not me:

Quote

Not a murderer, a vicious criminal or rapacious scam-meister. But we know the type. Oozing charm and charisma but with no emotional depth; more sizzle than steak. These are the ones who are manipulative and ruthless enough to do whatever it takes and stick the knife into anyone standing in their way. With their finely honed political skills, sharp timing and chameleon-like abilities, they thrive on risk, chaos and upheaval. And they are cold-blooded enough to claim later that they did nothing wrong.

I dont care enough about my job to go to those lengths to shaft people. I like the moral high ground of only acting second in a work stouch. If I suspect someone is white anting me, or I am told so by more loyal employees I move then and go hard, all or nothing style. Anyway as you can see I am a great collegue to have around... :schmoll:

So far as the quiz goes, self assessed so maybe innacurate: 0 for no, 1 for half way and 2 for yes.

Is he glib and superficially charming? 1
Does he have a grandiose sense of self-worth? 1
Is he a pathological liar? 0
Is he a con artist or master manipulator? 1
When he harms other people, does he feel a lack of remorse or guilt? 0
Does he have a shallow affect? 0
Is he callous and lacking in empathy? 0
Does he fail to accept responsibility for his own actions? 0

1-4 | Be frustrated
5-7 | Be cautious
8-12 | Be afraid
13-16 | Be very afraid

So by my own rating I am not a Psychopath, but I wonder how my staff would rate me? lol

I have heard of a some organisations described as a pyramid of monkeys resembling a 3D Christmas tree with one at the top and lots down the bottom. The one at the top looking down just sees smiling upturned faces whilst those at each tier below just see arseholes above.

Like all good jokes there is more than an element of truth to this.

Whenever my workmates bitch about the bosses and how they don't know anything I think to myself "if you think you can do a better job step up to the plate", whenever the bosses bitch about the workers I think to myself about the lack of leadership being displayed, the lack of reward for the hard workers and lack of a kick in the proverbial for the lazy workers. Three sides to every story - yours, mine and somewhere in the middle is the truth :flex:
