If your computer is stuffed try installing Ubuntu...

Would do so in a heartbeat except my trading platform only loads on Win and Mac... http://www.metaquotes.net/

An odd side effect of owning a mac is that one becomes curiously deaf to any and all claims that other platforms might have merits of their own. Therefor I am immune to sniggering.

I tried installing MT4 on the mac using crossover (a windows emulator for mac based on wine) A couple of hours of pain before I found out that it is known not to work. (There were some tips for replacing the crossover dlls with native windows dlls but life is too short, and I ended up installing it on a windows box) Be nice to have it on the mac though. MT5 beta is out and it's still an exe. Posted Image

I like the philosophy behind linux but I got burned once trying to install a winmodem as a linmodem on redhat 5.2. Currently get to play with a sun fire 4540. That sucker rocks.

Besides everyone knows that linux is only for linuxhippys and macs are cool.Posted Image

Damn, I meant to reply to Medved but neither Firefox nor Safari will let me edit posts. Buttons half obscured and unresponsive. Bloody macs.
