I applaud the new drummer boy Umm.

Tradition is something that happened to a boomer twice or more according to XKCD

Me I like the old music.

Hey SC.
That reminded me of this classic.
Bob Dylan had a great song as well, called "Forever Young"
Thanks for jogging some memories stuffed in the nostalgia section of this old brain.

You've opened up a floodgate here sol...

bah I meant Mars by Holst of course...

I have a pretty good version of the 1812 on vinyl I pull out every once in a while.

Mars, takes a bit to get to the really good noisy bits:

I missed this classical heavy metal post. I found it last week and keep coming back to it. If we find the higgs bozo particle next year I would hope that this tune would herald the good news. A sci-fi animated clip is long overdue.

You have had the privilege of crossing this great brown land where time is measured in distance covered. :)

Each Xmas vast migrations occur. Here's another road trip cracker.

And one for the whitefellas

But a noble bird with beautiful plumage. And a great song.

I can't think of a better road song for the moment so I'm going to play this.

Been sailing all day. f*ck I'm sore. Most fun you can have squatting and dodging a boom. Take off and landing were particularly rough but highly amusing to the casual onlooker. :)

I watched that 'red dog' film this afternoon. It's good if a bit schmaltzy. Very grey friars bobby. Although apparently it's a true story. It had this song briefly on the sound track. It could be considered a road song. :)

This song sounds great when you hear it on a long haul flight approaching _anywhere_. They often play it in duty free shops to encourage you to buy more. Regardless I'm playing it. And in supermarkets to make you buy more lobster.
