the total war franchise has lost its way in recent years. for me the pinnacle was total war rome. but they have just relesed a 6 gig demo, and as i didn thave plans of buying the latest game. i downloaded it.

must say it seems to have redeemed itself quite a bit , so far its reminding me more of the original game, than the newer variants.
maybe ill keep an eye out in the bargain bins or online for discounts. ill prob grab it at some stage.
in the demo it doesnt matter what army you build and take to the battle, they still give you their selection of forces for the battle. but demo does give some idea of what to expect.
i just hope it doesnt develop into ninja assassin wars, like the ending of the original game

u know i have a pretty good system, but shogun it seemd to not be enough. i tend to buy the older games on sale and at least have a decent go of running smoothly, yeah bullet storm looks ok but with new graphics and cpu needs i doubt i could run it. smoothly.
not sure i want this game but promo video gort a lot of raves lol dead island

I find death is least funny when it happens to a child - however I hunger for zombie themed entertainment like those zombies hunger for brainz so Dead Island will definitely be on my shopping list.

My hardware is 3.5 years old but Bulletstorm runs well enough on medium, 2011 is gonna be a great year for games so I am thinking it might be high-time to upgrade...

Have you watched The Walking Dead yet? It's a bit hit and miss, but worth a look:

I haven't played any of the Total War games. I'm filling the time between now and 11/11/11 with Halo Reach. Come November I'll become a recluse:

gtx 560i looked like a goer over my old gt 220, but hmmm pay down bills....
