Killing time tonight watching tele. Saw some stuff that almost made it to a thread or two but then was just too damn crap to bother posting. Given my posts at times you will understand just how crap my thoughts were.
So here is a thread for stuff that seems like maybe almost worth thinking about.
I believe that posting in this thread has an implicit pre apology, in that anything you say is not ever used against you in another thread if possible (of course usual forum rules apply) and if someone did use it you can legitimately claim exemption by pointing out that the post was in the "impaired thread".
I guess the main reason is because occasionally I have ideas which are not interesting enough or funny enough to post for real (and keep in mind how low that bar probably is).

Stream of consciousness thread almost anything can be forgiven (or ignored)

and of course I will start with my own embarrassing stream of consciousness.
Angry beast. Interesting TV show, it has footnotes. The topics are somewhat quickly covered but footnotes are awesome, I might watch this more often.
10 reasons I hate you. Film with that guy that died and that chick that is not very attractive but seems a decent actor maybe. I think I mostly like this movie for the music; it was "Wings of a dove" in it.
there was some other stuff but it took so long to create a thread and all I forgot what it was.
Probably something like I hate disney for making me get emotional when the jamaicans carry their sledge over the line even though I know it is a factual lie and probably just got tricked by the music.

Why only a thread when I have a whole stream of consciousness forum?
*Not that I won't fully participate in such a thread.

Just noticed they had No Doubt playing in the prom scene but for the first song Stefani wasn't the visual singer. I probably should have watched this when it came out, I would have realised the band was a train wreck way earlier.
Still love that zombie movie that has the damned playing (without captain beefheart which is actually when I sort of prefer them. my favourite LP for the damned is the handover album).
Was pop ska way more popular in the states than here? If so what a shame. Aussie bands could have totally gone for it. Happy music with cynical lyrics and a whole bunch of horns.
