Yeah, see one of the reasons I prefer here to that wonderful 'Australian Property Forum" is that I prefer speaking with adults...

I note with interest that one particular newslink on Bubblepedia has been getting posted and then quickly deleted and reposted again ad nauseum over the last hour.

It seems that certain people are going all out in order to ensure that this information is not shared!

The link is below, associating APF with Jonathan Chancellor - who is this fellow?

Read the second comment posted by 'David Smith'. Any guess as to his username is at APF?

I love the "related articles" link at the bottom:

Tenants rejoice!
Rents remained stable and even fell in some cities during the September quarter. Andrew Wilson reports.

Did Dr Ando really just say to no growth in rental prices (outside of Sydney) for the December quarter? First time I've ever seen APM make a non-bullish prediction on rents. He even hinted that Melbourne rental prices were heading down too, due to the amount of supply available.

I haven't really followed the forum wars, but I have noticed the australianpropertyforum promotion posts in The Age and SMH. Can somebody please fill me in? Is it some sort of bull forum trying to spam the hell out of any sensible discussion?

Yes it is supposed to be balanced but I have never been there except when it was first launched. There was a phising/spam attack from there during the dying days of ghpc, where they said everyone's account details had been transferred automatically and to go log in over there.

I think it was all a publicity thing though.

Yes, correct.

Moreover the site Macrobusiness.com.au is completely under the control of this group. I registered an account, as required, at Macrobusiness and tried to post a message. The message was completely re-written when it appeared.

Then I noticed that my old usernames, Nomad and this one, BottomFeeder, had been registered and had posted messages. So much for keeping the trolls out!

I posted messages against these troll posting questioning why they were allowed because they were using my old handles/ids. My messages disappeared, but some of the text from them appeared in the messages posted by the trolls under my old ids!

Conclusion: Macrobusiness has been completely compromised by the famous Australian Bull troll/s. I cannot work out how to contact the people running it to alert them, and I don't have the time.

Note: Keep an eye on the user BearTrap in this forum. I have my suspicions that it's the same person/s.
