Thanks, nice to be here! No, I'm not IT, assuming you mean ICT, not that creature from a Stephen King novel. Even then, the answer's no. Sorry I didn't see this post either, was expecting notifications to alert me to a reply, but alas...

ICT writing has limits. It's usually based on templates but the opportunity for creative writing definitely exists. I always enjoy sticking in some random bizarre words/sentences (easter eggs) as this is a good indication as to whether anyone is actually reading what you are writing.

I'm a social scientist where it's all about words.

Interesting. Any particular area of focus?

International relations, pacific politics and Aus political culture is my background but all areas of social policy interest me and my 'day job' is in research administration with a University. I'd love to find charity options that include helping not-for-profits with grant applications, etc, but need to be careful not to over-commit and under-deliver!

I wish Easter eggs were available all year round...

Cool.
Another one of us might add a bit of balance to some of the IT-heavy conversations around here... :D
Gotta love the words.

Two "social scientists" on the one site.
Are we being observed?
Are we part of an experiment?
I will watch my social graces from now on.
