Sept quarter GDP 0.8 or 1.0 for quarter

sept 1/4 / YOY %'s=
trend : 0.8 / 2.1
SA : 1.0 / 2.5

i can't be bothered pawing over the data but the ABC report i listened to on the way home from work (in my Ferrari) said that most of this was due to investment in the mining states and without mining investment the GDP figures would be well and truly negative. IIRC QLD's GDP was 4% for the quarter! happy to be corrected.

I want a ferrari but I'm concerned about driving it Japan - poor prius.

curious the Australia growth at different speed: it range from +8.4% in WA to -0.1% in Victoria and -1.6% in SA.
Still it is good to see the AU$ still suit the different economies unlike in Europe where it seems the euro doesn't suit everyone...:rolleyes:
