could the decrease in jobs for november actually be a seasonal thing? i.e. businesses slowing down due to the end of the year

I understand retail would pick up more in Nov/Dec due to holiday season, but seems that many other businesses slow down during this time

What do you think?

It could be seasonal thing as I know very well that it is very hard to look for work between late November and early Feb, as decision makers are on holidays. The other indicator I look at is the DEEWR Monthly Leading Indicator of Employment. It is showing signs that employment opportunities may improve in coming months.
